This special artist panel took place during the opening week of the New Museum’s 2018 Triennial: “Songs for Sabotage”  with Triennial artists Cian Dayrit, Haroon Gunn-Salie, and Shen Xin and moderated by one of the exhibition’s curators, Gary Carrion-Murayari. “Songs for Sabotage” adopts the notion of sabotage as a model for artistic production, positing that what unites these artists is an understanding of the inescapability of global political and economic networks and a desire to respond with individual, localized gestures.
