Noon to Midnight was the the New Museum’s grand reopening celebration following the 1998 renovation and expansion of its galleries at 583 Broadway.  The festivities included a twelve-hour marathon of artist readings, performances, and dance music.  

The schedule was as follows:
READINGS
12:00-2:00pm - Bill Arning, Lynne Tillman, Linda Yablonsky, Glenn O'Brien, C. Carr, and Patricia Spear Jones.
PERFORMANCE
2:00-2:30pm - Acts from The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus.
2:30-3:30pm - The B Team Edible Sugar Glass Blow
3:40-4:00pm - Stephen Petronio Dance
4:00-6:00pm - Tish Benson's Porch Talking with Renee Cox, Carl Hancock-Rux, and Greg Tate.
6:00-6:45pm - A conversation with Doris Salcedo and Dan Cameron.
7:00-7:20pm - Brian Dewan Film Strip Show.
7:30-8:00pm - Doug & Mike Adult Entertainment Puppet Show.
