This window installation was presented as part of a larger installation of works that was curated by Heresies Collective as part of the exhibition “Events: En Foco, Heresies Collective.” In keeping with the exhibition format of the Events series, the New Museum reversed standard museum procedure by asking this feminist collective to organize and present their own exhibition, thereby relinquishing curatorial control over its gallery space and the publication of the accompanying catalogue.
