Mark Kloth: Blind Migration: Waves at Bay
December 7 1983 – January 8 1984
Mark Kloth’s installation, Blind Migration: Waves at Bay, was the first of a series of WorkSpace exhibitions which featured art of a highly experimental nature. In his work, Kloth manipulated the gallery space by rearranging and refining the placement of found objects. The small gallery, located on the Museum’s second level, was transformed into an environment of artificial walls and ceiling — constructed of hand-painted and glued newspaper bricks — and a floor of metal strips.
